The next step in the airline history was made in 2011 when Niki started cooperation with Air Berlin. However, this cooperation was completed in December 2017. In 2018 Niki Lauda bought Air Berlin and founded a new company with its current name - Laudamotion. Importantly, at present 100% of the airline’s shares is owned by Ryanair.
