Cuba
Cuba, the largest country in the Caribbean, lies in the Greater Antilles archipelago. Its capital is Havana. The island, home to more than 11 million people, has a rich colonial history with Spanish roots, and since 1959 it has been a socialist republic. The official language is Spanish. Visitors can enjoy beautiful beaches, colonial architecture and the famous Cuban rhythms. Thanks to the tropical climate, the best time to visit is from November to April, when temperatures are milder.
