Indonesia
Indonesia, spread across South-East Asia and Oceania, is the largest island country in the world with 17 thousand islands. The capital, Jakarta, will soon be replaced by Nusantara. It is home to more than 275 million people, which makes it the fourth most populous country on the globe. Java, the most densely populated island, accounts for half the population. Indonesia is marked by enormous ethnic and linguistic diversity, and its economy is one of the largest in the world. It is best visited in the dry season, from May to September.
