Since mid-May 2020 more countries have been deciding to gradually lift the travel restrictions. Defrosting tourism is surely great information for everybody who is planning holidays and foreign travel. That’s why we have prepared for you a list of the countries that have already lifted or are about to lift restrictions in travelling for tourism purposes. Below, you can find information that we managed to collect, and that will surely be useful when planning the trips.
Which countries can be visited?
Lifting restrictions refers to allowing entry or exit into a certain country for travel purposes. The list is constantly updated based on the official announcements of the governments.
Warning! Some countries, which are not listed below, allow entering into their territory, but only for the living, business, or scientific purposes. Those countries (e.g. Finland) don’t allow to enter people who come only for tourism purposes.

[What is more, Belgium, Denmark, and Iceland should also announce official dates of opening borders.
Turkey will start easing restrictions and opening its borders with Asian countries including China and South Korea. This is to take place in mid-June. Borders for European citizens will be opened in the next stage, but not earlier than at the beginning of July.]
What about flight connections?
Airlines make decisions about resuming flight connections on their own, based on information from the state authorities and the demand for flights. [For example, the largest airline in Europe - Ryanair, announced the return of up to 90% of routes from July 1 (this year), and Wizz Air has been slowly restoring connections since May. Airlines from Lufthansa Group will resume connections in the first half of June.] While planning the trip to any of the previously mentioned countries, check whether the flight connections are restored on the preferred route.
