Baggage
When flying with Eurowings, you can have carry-on luggage, but it must not exceed weight and dimension limits. They are determined by your booking class and the destination. The checked baggage should meet the size and weight restrictions too. They also depend on the booking class and the route.
Booking classes
Eurowings airline provides all the passengers with the highest quality service, however certain conditions and additional facilities vary, depending on which carrier you’re flying with – Lufthansa or Germanwings.
The first one offers 4 different travel classes – Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class.
Passengers traveling with Germanwings can choose between 3 fare types. BASIC is the cheapest one, the ticket price includes only the flight. Supplementary services can be added for an extra fee. SMART fare, dedicated to both, leisure and business travelers, feature cheap prices but includes also some complimentary services, e.g., more comfortable seating. BEST fare will satisfy the most demanding passengers. It offers special comfort and luxuries, such as exclusive lie-flat seats with more leg room.
Online Check-in
Eurowings (when operating on behalf of Germanwings) offers passengers the convenience of online check-in, available between 72 to 3 hours before the flight. At most German departure airports you can check in online even up to 30 minutes prior the scheduled departure time. When flying with Lufthansa, you can check-in online from 23 hours before departure.
Fleet
Eurowings used to operate Bombardiers CRJ900 aircraft, but now its fleet consists mostly of Airbus A319, A320, and A330. On some routes, the airline uses also a Boeing 767-300ER. Eurowings continues to modernize and unify the fleet by replacing its 23 Bombardier jets with Airbus A320 that is twice the size. The largest aircraft of the Eurowings’ fleet is Airbus A330-200 which offers seats for up to 335 passengers.
Düsseldorf Airport
The international Airport of Düsseldorf is the largest and the most popular in the Rhineland. It is located 7 kilometers from the city center of Düsseldorf. At the airport, you can find plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops, and car rentals. There is also free Wi-Fi network available for the passengers.
Meals on board
Eurowings (when operating on behalf of Germanwings) provides travelers with in-flight meals, but the service will differ according to their booking class.
In the BEST fare, food and drink are included in the ticket price. SMART-fare holders will receive a savory snack and a bottle of water. BASIC-class passengers can purchase food and drinks from SkyBistro menu.
When operating on behalf of Lufthansa, as well as the flag carrier, it delivers restaurant-quality meals on board.
Additional Services
BASIC-class passengers, traveling with Eurowings/Germanwings have access to the in-flight entertainment system and electrical sockets and can enjoy free WiFi on board.

Very bad experience at the gate in Dusseldorf. Omur Kas was extremely rude to me in front of my son and fellow passengers. He made an announcement that nobody could here and then he called people from group 2 to come to him with the hand luggage. He stuck a label on my stroller and when I asked what is this for, he just said: leave it in front of the aircraft. I was trying to explain as I cannot leave it, as it contain my son food and medication as he has a severe allergy. He just shouted at me and I just couldn't believe my ears the way he was talking to me in front of everybody. He said: if you want it you have to buy group 1 very upset with me....I tried to explain that I am first time with this company and I don't know what is hf talking about. He then ripped that label of my troller and just turn saying things.....I asked what was his name and couldn't believe that this is happening to me. He turned to me laughing saying: this is not my name.....As first time travelling with Eurowings I had a very sour experience bearing in mind I was travelling alone with my son and paid quite a lot if money for that ticket.

We flew manchester to dussekdorf very smooth
Dusseldorf to manchester was a nightmare.three desks open long long queue .we were airport with 1 1/2 hours to spare.nearly a hour to check in.we had to ask to go to front.nearly missed out flight
