ASKY Airlines
Asky Airlines is a low-cost airline operating in Africa with a base at Lome airport in Togo. In the IATA code, the airline is listed under the letter abbreviation KP. This airline was established by West African governments in 2008, filling the void in the region. The company is 80% owned by private investors, while the remaining shares are in the hands of the founding governments.
The first commercial flight took place in 2010. Currently, the airlines operate in 23 destinations, mainly on short and medium-haul routes in West Africa. The connections also include other major airports throughout the rest of Africa, but the planes fly only within this continent. It is worth mentioning the cooperating carrier with Asky Airlines - Ethiopian Airlines, with whom agreements have been signed of partnership. These airlines are also considered the founding organization of Asky Airlines.
