Kenya Airways allows their passengers to bring a hand luggage onboard free of charge, Terms and Conditions apply depending on class and fare category.  The passengers travelling in the economic class may bring one piece of hand luggage, and two smaller accessories like a handbag or a laptop. All of the pieces may not exceed 12 kg. The limits for the business class are similar, the passengers may bring one piece of hand luggage and two accessories. In Kenya Airways the registered luggage is free of charge if it doesn't exceed the limit. In the economic class the passengers are allowed to bring one or two pieces of luggage, 23kg each (depending on fare type). In the business class (aka Premier World) the luggage limit is 2x32 kg. A larger luggage limit is available for the Sky Team Elite plus & Elite members.

In Kenya Airways there are two reservation classes: economic class and business class. Both of them have various fare categories. Kenya Airways economic class is available in the following fare categories: Best Buy (the cheapest option), Economy, Economy Flex or Economy Super Flex. The various fare types differ not only with prices but also with the amount of miles accumulated for every flight or with extra payments for the changes made in reservations.

Kenya Airway's business class is called Premier World and has two fare categories available: Business and Business Best Buy. Travelling Premier World equals many benefits, among others Sky Priority Service which allows earlier check-in, priority boarding, expanded luggage limit or a wider meal menu during flight. Flying Business Class gives the passengers more comfort –like a wider seat adjustable into flat bed or a socket for charging electronic devices.

There are two options for checking-in when you choose Kenya Airways – online or at the airport. The second option requires coming to a designated area in time. According to the Terms and Conditions of the Carrier, the passengers have to check-in at least two and a half hours prior departure of internationat flights and one and a half hous prior domestic flight. Kenya Airways online check-in is available from thirty hours before a journey, and it ends one hour prior a plane's departure. How to check-in online? It's necessary to have a reservation number as well as the passengers' personal details. Further instructions will appear on screen. It's mandatory to print a boarding card once checked-in. Entering Kenya Airways plane without a boarding card will not be possible.

Comfort of the passengers is secured during flights by modern aircrafts. What aeroplanes does Kenya Airways have in its fleet? It's Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-300 F, Boeing 787-8, Boeing 737-800 and Embraer E190. The passengers may choose to enjoy the entertainment system or read Msafiri magazine during flight. Meals are available onboard of Kenya Airways however the menu will vary in different classes and on different routes. The passengers may also request a special kind of meal like vegeterian, gluten free, for children or Hindu. The request should be made up to 24 hours before journey. Passengers travelling in the Economic Class may select their seats including expanded leg space, booking fee applies. The company offers a loyalty program Flying Blue to their passengers as well as a loyalty program for business – Bluebiz. In both of them, the passengers collect miles for every flight they take. There's also a Flight Pass service which allows buying several cheap flights up front and travelling anytime in the future on available flights. The offer doesn't include Europe. Upgrade to Business Class offer is for passengers who bought tickets in the economic class. 48 hours before the flights a passenger may bid for an upgrade and wait for an answer which comes at 24 hours before flight.

It's the largest airport in Kenya, open since 1958. The facilities have two terminals and Kenya Airways are carried out from Terminal 1. The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is adapted for people with special-needs. The passengers may visit a few shops and restaurants, use money exchange and post office. There are parking lots around the Airport. Getting to Nairobi city centre is possible by bus, taxi or car rental.
