Dubai International Airport is an international airport that serves mainly Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The airport, located 4 km southeast of the metropolis, is considered the main port in the Middle East. From year to year, the number of passengers served by the airport is growing – in 2010 it served over 47 million passengers – an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. Currently, Dubai International Airport is considered the 4th busiest airport in the world in terms of the number of international passengers. The port is also famous for its innovativeness and exclusive modern terminals.

Underground – airport is served by Dubai Metro, which provides airport lines. The red line stops at Terminal 3 and Terminal 1. The operating hours are 6:00 - 22:15 every day, except Friday, when the service operates from 13:00 to 23:15.
Bus
The network of bus connections is very rich – by bus you can get to different parts of the city, although the most connections are available on the route airport – Deira. Buses leave from the Airport Ground Transportation Center and from the arrivals lounge. Bus stops are located at Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Local buses 4, 11, 15, 33 and 44 connect terminals 1 and 3 and 2, which leaves from Terminal 2. Buses can get to around 80 hotels located in the city.
By bus you can also get to other major cities in the region, including to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Sharjah.
The airport is operated by the Dubai Taxi Agency, which operates 24 hours a day, and taxis are available at the arrivals lobby, at each terminal.

The airport is located on the D89 route, which runs perpendicular to D85 (Baniyas Road) from / to the Deira district. From there, the road leads south-east straight to the airport.

The airport has both short and long-term parking lots. Parking lots A are designed for shorter stops – up to 15 minutes for free, up to 30 minutes for a fee. Parking lots B are long-term parking lots.
Shopping – a huge duty-free zone is located within the airport's main hall. Among the available stores you can find boutiques offering jewellery, electronic equipment, cosmetics, luxury products, bookstores.
Finances – currency exchange points operate 24 hours a day and are located at Exits 8, 18 and 22.
Gastronomy – at the airport you can find about 25 restaurants, cafes and pubs specializing in cuisine from around the world. Restaurants are located in the departure lounge, between the entrances 113 and 115 and near the entrance 123.
Disabled – information and help points for people with disabilities are located in zone A and B of the departure lounge. The airport provides electric trolleys and lounge areas for disabled passengers (near entrances 9 and 22).
Car rental – several international companies offer their services in this field at the airport.
Passenger service – the airport offers a number of additional services, such as a children's zone, a business centre, medical point, post office or lounge lounges.
Internet – a website is available for travellers - Global Link (entrance 16) and so-called Internet kiosks (paid).
