There are taxi drivers who operate in a very intimidating manner. The fact that there are security personnel outside to protect passengers is an ugly seen and affects the service being offered by the airport. Something has to be done to change the culture of the taxi drivers. Was charged $28 for a trip to the Quqlity Inn which I thought was exorbitant.

It is nice to arrive to this class of airports, clean, easy to move and ice people.

Poorly trained

After having a small time window with my connecting flight to UK I was told by staff that my luggage would be on my connecting flight. Whilst going through immigration I was advised my connecting flight would leave for UK in 40 mins. I asked another member of staff about my luggage who told me I have to get it from the carousel. I ended up missing my flight and had to stay in Canada for 2 days with family members. My luggage was at the airport which I collected. Had to purchase another Air Transat ticket to UK. Very poorly trained staff giving me wrong information.

I have lived in Canada for a long time. So I do know Pearson International Airport quite well. I like it.

Always been a world class

Once arriving at Pearson they made everyone get off the flight in the middle of winter and collect our carry ons outside of the airport and we all had to wait in the freezing cold and watch as they unloaded our carry ins and drop them too !
